Hi, I am a taxidermist and artist based in Schertz, TX. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 with a Bachelors in Fine Art, Studio Art. I focused primarily in printmaking, Intaglio, Lithograph and Screenprinting, but I also specialized in painting and drawing. My work focused on using animal subjects to explore themes of our relationship to the world around us.

Growing up I’ve always had a passion for animals, which started at home when I was little with our german shepherd and a cat named happy, and branching out to Zilker park to feed the geese, trips to the San Antonio Zoo, and when I got older trips to art museums and seeing the taxidermy at Cabela’s inspired me to pursue a career in Fine Arts, though I did not know yet what form that would take.

After college I started working for an up and coming Taxidermy shop that has grown tremendously in the past decade. I have experience mounting everything from whitetail shoulder mounts, almost every exotic gamehead you could think of, to lifesize bobcats, mountain lions, bears, wolves, to all sorts of african species. The work I love the most are pieces that blend the world of taxidermy and fine art, pedestals that are artistically designed, an animal that portrays expression, tells a story about their life, and is as finely crafted to be as close to what the animal looked like when it was alive as possible.
